The First Annual Ride for Autism will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 (rain date, Saturday, August 30, 2014). Autism affects around 1 in 88 American children, a ten-fold increase in the past 40 years. Autism is four to five times more common among boys than girls – it is estimated that 1 out of 54 boys and 1 in 252 girls are diagnosed with autism in the United States.

This 88-mile ride will begin and end at Callihan’s American Pub & Grill, Kyova Tri-State Mall, Ashland, Kentucky, and will include a stop at Carter Caves Kentucky State Park (total ride time approximately 3 hours). Registration will begin at 9am and engine start time is 11am. Individual rider fee is $35 which includes a t-shirt and pin, second rider fee is $10 and additional shirts will be available for purchase.

There will be a celebration at the conclusion of the ride that will include food, live music, vendor booths, a car show, and lots of fun!

All proceeds will benefit the expansion of Pathways autism services. Please support the expansion of local autism services for those with the greatest needs and fewest resources. For more information about autism, go to www.autismspeaks.org
